Set of 4 Dining Chairs:
Made from Sweet Chestnut these dining chairs have
octagonal front legs and are 36" high to the top of the back with a
solid seat board.
The distinctive grain pattern of Sweet Chestnut is made more prominent by the light oak colouring and hand waxed finishing.
At only 9" high this Futon table may seem a bit low for a side table but I find that it is ideal for that purpose. With
most side tables, when a cup or mug is placed on the top it becomes
vulnerable to anyone moving their arms around, whereas with this lower
table your guests can wave their arms around without fear of sending the
cup/mug's contents flying over the furniture or redecorating the walls.
The top is made from one piece of Yew and the base is made from Sweet Chestnut, the joints are secured with handmade Yew pegs.
Overall size: 32" long x 11" wide x 9" high
Made in Sweet Chestnut this Linen/Laundry Chest is and hand finished in medium Oak with a hard wearing shelac and then beeswax polish. With raised panels
to the front and back, plain panels to the sides and raised &
fielded panels to the lid. The front legs are inlayed with English Yew.
Box Settle - Monk's Seat, Made from Sweet Chestnut, coloured medium oak with a
hand waxed finish this Box Settle or Monk's Seat as it is often known
has fielded and raised panels to the front of the box and the main back.
For
use in the hallway as a seat whilst putting on those awkward boots,
with useful storage underneath the seat for dog leads, shoes etc.
This is the first piece to made using timber from the Restoration Tree.

floors) cabriole legs to the base. The height is secured by means of a
wooden peg made from Yew.

this table.
